Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham are all pushing hard in the transfer market after the closure of the summer window as we quickly head towards January. Arsenal are said to be preparing a move for Mexican wonderkid Gilberto Mora amid fresh interest in Pio Esposito, Antonio Nusa and Kenan Yildiz, though Erling Haaland is believed to prefer a switch to LaLiga if he ends up leaving Manchester City.

Chelsea are understood to be leading the race for Alex Scott but could face competition from Real Madrid, while they may been handed a boost for Barcelona defender Jules Kounde. Manchester United, along with the Gunners and Newcastle, are apparently monitoring Roma wing-back Wesley. Liverpool are rumoured to be plotting a shock swoop for Man City attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki, though Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be watching developments closely.

A return to Tottenham for Troy Parrott looks tricky, with Spurs potentially looking at Julian Alvarez and Endrick instead as Roberto De Zerbi targets a potential reunion with Kaoru Mitoma. Follow all the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!

The report states that Mora has a release clause in the region of €20–25 million (£16.9-£21.1m).

Arsenal, Man Utd to battle for defenders

Arsenal and Manchester United are monitoring Roma wing-back Wesley, with Newcastle United also tracking alternatives.

The 23-year-old Brazilian is now valued at least twice the €25million plus €5m Roma paid for him last summer.

All three Premier League clubs are also keeping tabs on Monaco's Vanderson, who is valued at €35m–€40m.

Spurs learn striker transfer decision

A Bola reports that Benfica have no plans to let Vangelis Pavlidis leave after Marco Silva made the striker central to his project.

Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Barcelona have all shown interest in the 27-year-old. Pavlidis prefers a future move to England but has a €100million release clause and a contract until 2029.

Liverpool star to leave?

Fichjaes claims that Liverpool could allow Giorgi Mamardashvili to leave if Alisson remains their first-choice goalkeeper.

Juventus considered the Georgian last summer, while Inter Milan have also monitored his situation.

Mamardashvili is valued at around €30million and remains under contract with the Reds until 2031.

'Man Utd should do whatever it takes to get Harry Kane'

Reports of Harry Kane closing in on an agreement over a new Bayern Munich contract has not stopped Quinton Fortune from making a Manchester United transfer plea.

Speaking to BOYLE Sports, who offer the latest Premier League odds, Fortune said: “He’s not young but given what he's achieved, Man Utd should go and Harry Kane as soon as possible, whatever it takes. He is exactly what they need.

"If there's any chance of bringing Harry Kane in, do whatever it takes because the man is a natural-born goalscorer.

“Give him service and he will score goals. It's as simple as that. You give him service, he will put the ball in the back of the net.

“Just go and get him. Simple as that. If there's a possibility, there's a small chance of going to it. Don't wait any longer because what a player he is, my goodness.”

Conte drops Man Utd hint in next job wishlist

Antonio Conte has fuelled speculation that he could be interested in taking the reins at Manchester United after admitting he would love to restore a fallen giant to former glories.

Man Utd are the most successful team in Premier League history, but they have not won the title since 2013, in Sir Alex Ferguson’s final season in charge.

Conte, meanwhile, has developed a reputation as a serial winner, having guided Napoli, Juventus, Inter Milan and Chelsea to league titles during famously volatile but successful stints at each club.

The Italian, who has been out of work since leaving Napoli, has routinely been linked with the Man Utd job since leading Chelsea to the 2016/17 Premier League title in his first season in England, and spent a short spell at Tottenham before an acrimonious exit, and he now appears to have opened the door to a move to Old Trafford.

Speaking in an interview with The Athletic, Conte said he would like the chance to manage a team that had historically been successful and make them winners again.

Exclusive: Chelsea wonderkid attracting interest as January decision made

Chelsea have decided to loan out highly rated Under-21s captain Olutayo Subuloye in January, .

Standard Sport understands that a number of European clubs have already enquired about the 18-year-old centre-back, and several English clubs are also expected to register their interest.

Subuloye has been on the fringes of Xabi Alonso’s first team this season and trained with the squad at Cobham over the international break, playing 45 minutes in a behind-closed-doors friendly with Portsmouth.

He also travelled with the first team on their pre-season tour of Australia and Asia over the summer, playing 179 minutes in total, including the full 90 against Malaysian champions Johor Darul Ta'zim in a 3-3 draw.

During which time, Subuloye was named captain of Chelsea’s Under-21s after leading the club’s Under-18s side to southern and national titles last season.
