Man Utd offered Barcelona midfielder

Rodri's move to Barcelona could have implications for Manchester United.

The Red Devils are still on the market for another central midfielder, despite already signing Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans this summer.

Well, according to reports in Spain, they have been offered a solution.

SPORT claim Marc Casado is now deemed surplus to requirements at the Camp Nou following Rodri's arrival and United have the chance to sign him.

Wan-Bissaka medical

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been given permission to travel for a medical at Aston Villa.

This comes after Villa agreed a deal to sign the West Ham defender initially on loan deal with an obligation to buy at the end of the season.

The 28-year-old, who played for DR Congo at the World Cup earlier in the summer, has not featured in either of West Ham's first two matches of the season - against Portsmouth and Burnley.

Delap open to Newcastle move

Liam Delap is open to joining Newcastle, reports FootyInsider.

understands that the Chelsea are open to selling Delap just a year after they activated his £30m release clause to sign him from Ipswich Town.

The Blues, though, want £50million to sell the striker this summer as they look to trim their squad ahead of the new season.

Newcastle are flush with cash having already sold Bruno Guimaraes, Anthony Gordon and Sandro Tonali.

Arsenal reveal Lewis-Skelly stance

Arsenal are happy with Myles Lewis-Skelly, CEO Richard Garlick has confirmed amid fresh links to Manchester United.

Doubts over Lewis-Skelly’s future at the Emirates Stadium were raised recently with Man United and Chelsea among the clubs being offered the chance to sign the 19-year-old.

As reported by , the aforementioned clubs had been approached by intermediaries, though it’s understood that Lewis-Skelly is not exploring a move away from Arsenal.

Despite that stance, it has not stopped Man Utd legend Wayne Rooney claiming it would be a “no-brainer” for his former club to pursue Lewis-Skelly, especially with a reported price-tag of £45million.

Julian Alvarez may not be heading to Barcelona after all, in a potential boost for Arsenal.

With Atletico Madrid still refusing to entertain a sale to their rivals, the Spanish champions are therefore continue to assess alternative options.

According to Radio MARCA (via SPORT), Barcelona are considering former Leicester City forward Ayoze Perez as one possible alternative to Alvarez.

Will this open the door for Arsenal?

Rodri completes Barcelona move

Rodri has spoken for the first time after completing his move to Barcelona from Manchester City.

The midfielder has signed a four-year contract with the LaLiga champions, who struck an agreement with Man City for a fee in the region of £65million.

Rodri said: "I'm very happy and excited about this new stage in my career. It's a fresh challenge, a chance to experience new things and feel that excitement again.

"I've come to a hugely ambitious club that really suits my personality, so I'll try to help in every way I can to achieve our objectives this season.

"I'm happy to have a coach who I think will bring a lot to my career. It's a style that I think is somewhat different from what I've experienced before, so it will be enriching and help me grow as a player."

Arsenal want Yildiz

Arsenal have less than a fortnight to bolster their attack.

The Athletic claim that while the Gunners' focus has been on the left wing, they are open to a change of heart should the right forward become available.

Liverpool decide against Mbaye move

A double raid of Paris Saint-Germain for Liverpool this summer now looks unlikely.

The Reds had been linked with moves for Ibrahim Mbaye and Bradley Barcola, but it's been widely reported in the British media that the club are unlikely to pursue interest in the former despite exploratory talks.

Furthermore, the Athletic have dismissed suggestions that personal terms had already been agreed with the Senegal international.

Manchester United are maintaining close contact with Edmond Tapsoba’s representatives over a potential move before the summer transfer window closes.

According to Fussball Daten, Man United face competition from Tottenham and Newcastle United for the Bayer Leverkusen defender.

It's claimed that Leverkusen value the 27-year-old at €50million (£43m).

Alvarez next club revealed

Huge reports emerging from Spain!

Julian Alvarez will leave Atletico Madrid this summer and his next destination has been revealed.

The Argentina international has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Barcelona, but it's claimed that he will join the latter.

An interesting turn of events given Atletico's stance of not wanting to do business with a rival.
