Transfer news LIVE!
A thrilling and, potentially record-breaking, end to the summer window is in store as Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham all work on deals before Tuesday night's deadline. Plenty of movement is expected at Arsenal with Julian Alvarez the priority signing and there has been a significant development regarding that pursuit. Elsewhere, Habeeb Ogunneye, James Scanlon and Igor Tyjon have joined the Premier League champions but Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Fabio Vieira are set to depart.
Liverpool are set to announce the signing of Bradley Barcola after the Frenchman underwent a medical and have identified Ismaila Sarr as a replacement for Manchester City-bound Cody Gakpo. Enzo Fernandez, meanwhile, may have already played his last game for Chelsea, with Monaco's Lamine Camara on the Blues' shortlist as they look to wrap up a deal for Honest Ahanor before loaning him out.
Man United have confirmed two deals as they continue to target a left-back. Tottenham are hoping to accelerate their move for Iliman Ndiaye after agreeing personal terms with the Everton star, though Richarlison's return to Merseyside is a separate deal. Arsenal prepare Ndiaye move
It couldn't happen again, could it?

Chelsea target impresses for Monaco
Lamine Camara is a target for Chelsea, should Enzo Fernandez leave for Manchester City.
The midfielder started for Monaco in their 2-0 win over Marseille on Sunday, impressing the French media along the way.
On X, Matt Spiro said: "The €45m being quoted for Lamine Camara is crazily low. He was sensational tonight for Monaco against Marseille. Never stops running, so quick, so athletic, so clever, and still only 22. Terrific signing if Chelsea get it done."
Tottenham agree terms with Iliman Ndiaye
Fabrizio Romano, on Instagram, has provided the following update on Iliman Ndiaye to Tottenham.
He posted: "Iliman Ndiaye said yes to Tottenham project and Everton are working to get Richarlison as part of the agreement too.
If all goes to plan, Ndiaye will become Spurs final signing in attacking positions after Savio and Omar Marmoush deals.

However, Palace insist the player is still not for sale and he still has a contract until 2029.

The deadline for a decision over Julian Alvarez's future has now passed.
While there has been no indication yet as to whether the Argentine has decided to stay put or join Arsenal, he has returned to group training at Atletico Madrid.

When does the summer transfer window close?
The 2026 summer transfer window closes on Tuesday, September 1, at 11pm BST.
It is a return to a more traditional closing time, after the last two summer windows shut at 7pm.
Should any potential transfers go right down to the wire, though, clubs can submit a ‘deal sheet’, a form which if completed in time, can give clubs a few extra hours to exchange documents and get their purchases over the line.

Arsenal handed Julian Alvarez boost as 'Atletico open talks to sign replacement striker'
Arsenal appear to have had their chances of signing Julian Alvarez boosted as Atletico Madrid open talks to sign a replacement striker.
Arsenal have emerged as his most likely destination, despite the belief the player is hesitant to return to the Premier League. It also remains to be seen whether Arsenal will bid for Alvarez.
In any case, Atletico appear to have begun planning for his exit with a bid to sign Juventus’ Jonathan David on loan.
Fabrizio Romano reports they have lodged a formal offer to take the Canadian on loan with an option to buy, with the two clubs now locked in talks.
Carrick drops Man Utd transfer hint
Michael Carrick has suggested Manchester United have more business to do before the transfer deadline.
United have spent heavily so far this summer, overhauling the midfield with the additions of Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans, and, most recently Carlos Baleba.
The transfer window will not close until 11pm BST on Tuesday night, and while Carrick admits he is pleased with United’s signings so far, he seemed to hint there could be more incomings on the way.
“You're always looking for more if you can do something else and make the most of the situation,” he told Sky Sports.
Barcola to finalise Liverpool move today
Bradley Barcola will formalise his move from Paris Saint-Germain to Liverpool today.
