Bradley Barcola agreement as Arsenal plan hijack
Arsenal have made contact with Paris Saint-Germain over a potential move for winger Bradley Barcola.
According to TEAMtalk, the Gunners have joined the race for the France international as they continue searching for attacking reinforcements.
Liverpool are also interested in Barcola and are currently considered to be leading the race for the 23-year-old, with talks already taking place.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Reds have agreed personal terms with Barcola in a huge step towards signing the forward.
PSG are reportedly demanding around £130m for Barcola,
Chelsea book Pep Chavarria medical
Chelsea are set to seal the signing of Pep Chavarria with a medical booked.
The Blues have been locked in talks with LaLiga oufit Rayo Vallecano since the end of June regarding their Spanish left-back, who helped them to reach the final of last season’s Conference League, where they lost to Crystal Palace in Leipzig in May.
The two clubs struggled to agree a financial package for Chavarria, who will help Chelsea to bolster a potential problem position following the surprise £51.7million departure of Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid earlier this summer.
The 28-year-old has a release clause in his contract at Vallecano worth £42.5m, though Chelsea were never willing to go anywhere close to that figure and are believed to have struck a deal worth an initial £16.2m plus a further £1.7m in add-ons.

Arsenal keen on Kenan Yildiz
Arsenal have Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz on their list of potential targets as they search for a new left winger.
The 21-year-old enjoyed an impressive 2025-26 season, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists in 47 appearances for Juventus across all competitions.
According to BBC Sport, Yildiz’s ability to play across the frontline appeals to Mikel Arteta.
However, Yildiz has recently signed a new four-year contract and will prove a very difficult deal to do should Arsenal make a move.
Liverpool reveal Araujo shirt number
Ronald Araujo’s shirt number has been revealed after his move to Liverpool was completed.
The Uruguay international has joined Liverpool on a season-long loan deal from Barcelona, and will provide much-needed depth and experience in central defence.
Sky Sports have reported that the Reds have agreed an option to buy Araujo permanently next summer for around £47.14m (€55m), should the 27-year-old enjoy an impressive spell on Merseyside.
Arsenal transfer target speaks out
Christian Kofane has said he feels comfortable at Bayer Leverkusen, amid links to Arsenal.
After impressing against the Gunners in the Champions League last season, Kofane's agent, Eric Depolo, sparked speculation over a summer transfer.
Depolo went as far to suggest that Arsenal were in pole position to sign Kofane, due to the presence of Mikel Arteta and William Saliba.
This is was despite claiming Chelsea, Newcastle, Everton, Brentford, Barcelona and Bayern Munich were also interested in the 20-year-old.
Man Utd learn Camara asking price
Manchester United know how much it will cost to sign Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara.
Man Utd remain on the market to bolster their options in the engine room following deals for Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos.
Camara has emerged as a new target for Michael Carrick's side, though Monaco are demanding €50million (£42.7m) for the 22-year-old.
Reports claim the French side will stick to their valuation of Camara and have no intention of accepting a lower fee.
Araujo's first words as a Liverpool player
This is what Ronald Araujo has said about joining Liverpool and getting to partner Virgil van Dijk.
“We all know what a great player Virgil is. He’s a real reference point for the team and he’s a kind of role model and reference for me personally as well. I’m looking forward to lining up alongside him hopefully and spending time with him both on the field and off it as well.
“I am excited to have that opportunity and enjoy learning from him, playing alongside him. With hard work, I think we can achieve good things together as a partnership and as a defence.”
Atletico to make Romero bid
More Tottenham transfer news.
As per Fabrizio Romano, Cristian Romero could soon be an Atletico Madrid player as the La Liga side are set make a bid for the Tottenham defender.
The Argentina international is said to have already given his green light to Atletico as talks enter the final stages.
Crucially, Atleti don’t have much competition for Romero’s signature as Spurs never considered selling to north London rivals Arsenal, while Barcelona remain focused on signing Rodri.

Barcelona and PSG agreement close
PSG have submitted a €50million (£42.7m) bid for Barcelona forward Ferran Torres.
According to reports in France, an agreement between the two clubs is moving into the final stages as a verbal agreement has already been reached.
What could this mean for Bradley Barcola’s future?
Tottenham highlight Micky van de Ven’s leadership qualities
Tottenham and head coach Roberto De Zerbi have highlighted Micky van de Ven’s leadership qualities after the defender signed a new contract.
It was announced on Monday night that the 25-year-old had committed his future to Spurs by putting pen-to-paper on fresh terms, though there could be further good news for the Dutchman imminently.
Cristian Romero is widely expected to leave Tottenham this summer, as negotiations with Atletico Madrid are said to have commenced - but no formal bid has been submitted yet.
Inter Milan, Barcelona and Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in the central defender, though any deal with the Gunners appears a non-starter given the rivalry between the two clubs.
Should the Argentine depart before the transfer window closes, Spurs will have to appoint a new captain and the club’s statement when confirming Van de Ven’s new deal suggests he will be a leading contender.
