The family of a man shot dead near a south-west London pub have described him as "amazing" and "full of love" as detectives renewed their appeal for information.

Officers and paramedics were called to Willington Road, Clapham, just before 22:00 BST on 10 August following reports of gunshots near The Landor pub.

Auguste-Marie Bile-aka Amoa, 25, a bus driver for Transport for London, was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts by paramedics.

A 22-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of murder after attending hospital with a gunshot wound on 11 August but has since been discharged and released by police. The Met said no further arrests had been made and "urgent" inquiries continued.

In a statement released through the force, Amoa's family said they were "devastated" by his death.

"Bile-aka touched so many hearts, and the pain of losing him is impossible to put into words," they said.

"It is difficult to imagine a world without his smile, his presence, and the joy he brought to those around him.

"Family, friends, and colleagues are heartbroken, and all we want now is justice for him. Please stand with us and help us honour Bile-aka by making sure his life is remembered and that justice is served."

Det Ch Insp Claire Guiver renewed the force's call for anyone with information on the shooting to come forward.

"Any piece of information you have could prove vital in our investigation," she said.

"If you witnessed anything suspicious, or have CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage that could assist our investigation, we urge you to get in touch."
