The 39-year-old announced the news with an Instagram post, which featured a mock sensitive content warning, that then said “are you sure you want to keep going?” when moved to the next picture, with the last image showing the couple.
In the last picture, Murray could be seen kissing Douglas on the cheek while holding her baby bump, with the caption: “The exciting news is finally here. We’re over the moon to announce, we’re having a baby.”
On the programme, she said: “I never thought I’d be 37 and no man, no husband, no baby.
“So I figured that as a career-driven woman it’s been fantastic, but I do want to have a family, so I have to take my future into my own hands, and just prepare myself for having kids at a later date.
“I would still of course love to have a child naturally but that might not be the case so this is something I had to do as a back up.”
Douglas presented Channel 4 holiday programme A Place In The Sun from 2015 to 2022, and has also appeared on Points Of View, The One Show and The Jeremy Vine Show.

She has also been a contestant on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2022 where she finished 10th, and has taken part in Richard Osman’s House Of Games.
In 2015, Douglas was a backing dancer for UK Eurovision entry Electro Velvet, who placed 24th at the contest in Vienna, Austria with Still In Love With You.
