Two men have appeared in court charged with murdering another man who was shot dead in West Lothian.

Police were called to a property on Harestanes Road in Armadale at about 11:50 on 12 September.

Billy Watson, 35, was found injured and died at the scene.

Corrie McQueen, 29 and Martin Patterson, 44, appeared at Livingston Sheriff Court on Monday, charged with murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice. Both men made no plea and were remanded in custody.

On Friday Frank McCarthy, 57, faced identical charges when he appeared before the same court.

He made no plea and was remanded in custody.
