
Two young men have died after three Seat Leons crashed on an A road in Surrey overnight.
The UK’s roads saw several tragedies last night after fatal crashes claimed lives across the country.
In Surrey, the alarm was raised after a multi-vehicle collision on Epsom Road in East Clandon shortly after 11pm.
The emergency services found that a white, black and grey Seat Leon had smashed on the A246 near Clandon Wood Nature Reserve outside Guildford.
The driver of the white Seat, a man in his late teens, and his passenger, a man aged in his early 20s, succumbed to their injuries at the scene.

Their next of kin have been informed, Surrey Police confirmed.
Now a 22-year-old man from Woking, a 21-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man, both from Guildford, have been arrested.
They remain in police custody on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Epsom Road A246 remains closed while an investigation is being carried out.
Surrey Police asked anyone who was in the area between 10.50pm and 11pm yesterday or has dashcam footage to get in touch.
The collision happened shortly before several people died in a crash on the A66 in Cleveland, North Yorkshire, following a police pursuit, marking a dark night for emergency services up and down the country.
The police watchdog, IOPC, has launched an investigation into the incident as a pursuit was involved.
In Kent, a stretch of the M20 was closed between junction J4 and J6 at Aylesford following another overnight crash.
The motorway has been shut into the afternoon after a serious crash at about 3.20am today.
Kent Police confirmed that a teenage girl died after being struck by vehicles, including a Ford Transit van and a Vauxhall Corsa.
She was confirmed dead at the scene.
