Tyson Fury says his hotly anticipated fight with Anthony Joshua “doesn’t look like it’s going to happen”.
A heavyweight fight between the pair has been in the offing for years, and finally seemed set to take place after a deal was reached earlier this year.
Disputes over where the fight will be staged, though, seem to be stalling its confirmation. Fury and Joshua’s initial contract stated it must be staged in the UK, while Saudi organisers are pushing for it to be moved to the United States.

Now, speaking in a remarkable expletive-laden rant shared across a number of Instagram stories, Fury said the fight is close to falling through due to “money-thirsty” Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter.
“Doesn't look like they're going to sign the fight and it doesn't look like it's going to happen all because Eddie Hearn and that want more money,” Fury said.
He continued, accusing Joshua of ‘running away’ from the fight and insisting he does not care where it is staged so long as it goes ahead.
Fury added: "I'll move on and fight somebody else but just know you never had the guts to fight Tyson Fury, ever, you little coward.”
Per BBC Sport, the Saudi-owned entertainment firm Sela has contracts with both Joshua and Fury, and is pushing for the fight to be staged at Madison Square Garden.
Hearn has also contacted Sela to request higher payouts for Joshua and ‘addendums’ regarding compensation for travel and other fight conditions.
It remains to be seen whether the fight will go ahead or be called off, as Fury seems to have predicted.
