New aerial images have been revealed the devastating ongoing impact of a wildfire.
Flames ripped through Dunwich Heath in Suffolk from late July and into August.
The National Trust has warned there is "a long recovery" ahead, with more than 104 hectares (257 acres) of heathland destroyed and recent monitoring showing "significant impacts" on the health of the soil.
"The destruction has been so complete that [although] we will see some early regrowth, a full recovery is likely to take decades," said the trust's Russell Clement.
