Dozens of people have died and others have been injured after two high-speed trains collided south of the Spanish capital Madrid.
Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said it was "unacceptable" that Spain had suffered its second fatal rail crash in a year.
The BBC's Guy Hedgecoe reports from the scene of the crash.
