A storied rivalry, perhaps the greatest English football has ever seen, is renewed in some capacity this afternoon as North London Legends face Manchester United Legends in Indonesia.

During the late 90’s and early 00’s, in particular, Arsenal and Man Utd had some legendary battles, whether it be Premier League title deciders or FA Cup semi-final showdowns.

From Ryan Giggs’ brilliant solo goal to the Gunners clinching the title at Old Trafford to the battle inside that very stadium and the infamous ‘Pizzagate’, these games will live long in the memory of Arsenal and Man United supporters.

Now, from yesteryear to the current day. Many who were involved in the rivalry over two decades ago are set to renew those acquaintances in a fixture billed as ‘Champions Impact in Jakarta: The Rivalry Returns 2026’.

An Arsenal legends team, known as the North London Legends, including the likes of Thierry Henry, Robert Pires and Patrick Vieira will take on a team of Man United legends that boasts Edwin van der Sar, Rio Ferdinand, Giggs and many more.
