Jake and Logan Paul’s visit to the Pentagon to address US service members has faced criticism online.
The YouTube stars spoke to troops gathered at the headquarters of the US Department of Defense ahead of National POW/MIA Recognition Day.
Logan described the visit as a ‘cool experience’ and praised members of the military for their willingness to ‘live, die and fight for their country’.
The visit, which was documented by the Department of Defense, showed the brothers speaking to service members and meeting Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
A spokesperson for the Defense Department said: ‘Last Thursday, we welcomed Logan and Jake Paul to the Pentagon to meet with our warriors.’
However, with it not being clear why the brothers were invited, the visit has been mocked online.
Writing on X, former GOP Representative Adam Kinzinger, who previously voted to impeach Trump in 2021, said: ‘We aren’t a serious country at the moment.’
The brothers’ appearance came as the US prepared to mark National POW/MIA Recognition Day, which honours American service members who were captured or remain missing.
Jake also appeared to meet with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on the same day.
Bessent shared pictures of himself with the entrepreneur and boxer, writing: ‘Jake’s path from content creator to entrepreneur and professional boxer is a distinctly American story.’
In the clip where the Paul brothers meet with Hesgeth, Logan can be heard saying: ‘We just got the pleasure and the privilege of getting a tour of the Pentagon and what a cool experience.’
Jake, meanwhile, added: ‘Each of you matters. Take this moment and be proud of yourselves for what you do.
’This is the greatest country in the world, truly. We are blessed to be born here, come here, and we should never take that for granted.’
Both Jake and Logan, who recently landed a fight competition series with Hulu and ESPN, have been linked with Trump.

Hegseth, meanwhile, avoided an impeachment vote on Thursday, which was the same day the Paul brothers visited.
