
A woman has been arrested after a 16-year-old girl was stabbed in Coventry.
The teenager suffered a single stab wound during the incident on Roselands Avenue, shortly after 22:00 BST on Tuesday.
She was taken to hospital along with a 42-year-old woman who had minor injuries. Both have since been discharged, West Midlands Police said.
The force confirmed a woman, 45, was being held in custody after she was arrested on suspicion of wounding.
"We understand that the community will be worried by this news," a police spokesperson said.
"We can confirm that it was an isolated incident but we will have officers in the local area to offer reassurance."
